About me

Welcome! I'm Hailey, a certified Ayurdoula, postpartum doula, and newborn care specialist based in Phoenix, Arizona, with virtual sleep coaching support available nationwide. I've spent six-plus years working directly with families in the newborn period, and over that time my practice has grown to include responsive sleep coaching grounded in infant neuroscience and attachment theory, as well as Ayurvedic and physiologic postpartum care rooted in healing traditions. My work looks at the whole picture: the mother's recovery, the baby's biology, the family's rhythms, and the nervous system underneath all of it. I'm here to help you feel rested, nourished, and genuinely supported during one of the most significant transitions of your life.

My Story

Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am. My path began when my mother had a brain injury while I still had three younger siblings at home. I stepped in to help care for them while she slowly recovered, and something shifted in me during that time. I went on to spend five years as a nanny, falling deeply in love with the newborn stage and eventually realizing I wanted to build my whole career around supporting families through it.

I pursued my certification as a nursing assistant first, which gave me a clinical foundation in health and hands-on care. Then I went deep into the postpartum world: I became a certified postpartum doula through DONA, earned my Newborn Care Specialist credentials and certification through both NCTA and INA, and completed my sleep coaching training through a baby-led, attachment-based framework. That last piece was particularly meaningful to me, because it pushed me to think differently about sleep than most of the industry does. I'm not interested in methods that ask babies to comply. I'm interested in understanding what's actually driving a family's sleep challenges and addressing it from there.

As my practice deepened, so did my pull toward traditional postpartum care. I trained in Ayurvedic postpartum care and physiologic postpartum practices, eventually completing my Ayurdoula and Innate certifications, which formalizes the integration of these two frameworks. Ayurveda's understanding of the postpartum body, warming foods, restorative rituals, and the importance of protecting the mother's recovery aligns with everything I believe about what the fourth trimester is supposed to look like. I prepare and deliver nourishing meals, offer traditional bodywork including closing of the bones and belly binding, and provide the kind of hands-on care that was once passed down through communities but is rarely offered now.

I live in Phoenix, Arizona and work with local families in person for overnight newborn care, postpartum support, and in-home visits. I also work with families virtually across the country for sleep coaching and postpartum education.

I began Beyond Bump Mamas to support parents during every phase of the parenting journey: preconception, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I have experience in each of these phases, and chose my business name to reflect the continuation of care, the idea that support doesn't end when the baby arrives.

My branding is inspired by nature, designed to evoke the grounded, healing feeling of being in a forest or near a river. That's not just aesthetic for me. I've spent the last nine years hiking and backpacking whenever I get a free moment, and I return from every trip feeling more rooted and inspired than when I left. Nature has always been where I go to come back to myself.

I live that nature-rooted life in the way I eat, move, and show up for others. At 14, I started having severe stomach pain that doctors couldn't explain. So I started researching on my own, testing gut-healing protocols, experimenting with whole and warming foods, tinctures, castor oil packs, and herbal blends. I eventually found my way out of that pain, and those years of self-directed learning became part of the foundation of how I care for clients today. Ayurveda made sense to me before I even knew what it was called.

To keep my body and mind healthy, I work with a functional medicine provider, get regular myofascial release and gentle chiropractic adjustments, move my body through stretching and walks, and prioritize mental health support. I mention this not to prescribe anything, but so you know that I practice what I offer. I'm not here to judge your choices or push my ways on you. I'm here to meet you exactly where you are and walk with you toward more nourishment and rest, while I take care of the rest.
